Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott will not face suspension

Ezekiel Elliott avoided another handle, this time.
The Dallas Cowboys running back has been informed he will not be punished for his most recent off-field incident, the Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported.
Elliott satisfied regarding an episode in Las Vegas in with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday. Following the assembly, Elliott issued an apology for his actions, promising to make better decisions in the future.
The NFL later announced that Commissioner Goodell decided that the personal conduct policy was not violated by Elliott.
The statement in full of the League:
Immediately following reports of an incident in Las Vegas in May between Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys, the NFL ran a comprehensive evaluation that included interviews with numerous witnesses, including security personnel and others with direct involvement, in addition to a review of documentary and other info.
On Tuesday, within the review, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell met with Mr. Elliott to fortify the standards of behavior expected of him and the consequences of failing to meet these standards.
Mr. Elliott confessed that he demonstrated poor judgment and dedicated to make better choices in the long run. He volunteered to take advantage of the resources available to assist him continue to develop.
Commissioner Goodell determined there was no breach of the private behavior policy and no further action is warranted.
The NFL could have taken action against Elliott for breach of the conduct policy as a repeat offender. For violating the policy zeke was suspended six matches in 2017.
In this event, Commissioner Goodell determined no further action was justified.
The Cowboys expect when training camp opens July 24, the noise that they hear about Elliott is regarding his on-field exploits.
