Monday afternoons meeting in Pontefract was abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
The course survived an review that was early Sunday however issued a proviso that some additional rain could place the assembly in peril.
Unfortunately with further rain totalling nearly five millimetres on Sunday night, the track could take no more and it had been waterlogged in areas.
In complete over 129 millimetres has fallen since rain and just September 22 is forecast throughout Monday.
Pontefract has an additional meeting at 2019, its season finale on October 21.
Even the racecourses official Twitter account posted:After a further 4.5mm rain Sunday evening falling on saturated soil and with further heavy rain forecast now, racing has been abandoned.
