Youth Refugees Movement is a group of youth refugee activists, who are taking actions against globally pressing issues .One of the most important part of their activities is spreading and sharing informations about 17 sustainable development goals, as they are also taking actions about each one of these global crisis.
As no action can be taken , without having freedom , so each friday this team is taking actions to spread informations among inhabitants of the camp and local individuals, so in the third week , after our actions for school and our protests for school in each pervious fridays , we spread the informations about different types of freedom by using the power of art and doing paintings to share this informations in the simplest , but the mose powerful way.
In this friday each pair of youths , searched about one type of freedom with paitings and shared the informations to inhabitants and children of the camp .
Below are the paintings and short describtion of the paintings in perspective of youths.
- Freedom of educations by Mohadisa and Samana
Freedom of the basic rights of all human beings. We are born to live freely, and to taste the favor of having freedom in our lives , and to have access to freedom and all its types. Freedom of education means means,that everybody can be able to go to school with no limitation,in order to build a bright future for themselves and their communities and society .An ignorant person is like a blind, who will lose his/her way. I am a refugee and during this 14 years life , I have faced with many sorts of difficulties and hardships, that my body , my soul and my heart that is my family, has been suffering.
Many promises we have heard and have believed , days and months we have waited for school enrolment , but we have not been reigstered yet. This is not only my story, this is a story of thousand refugee children.
2. Freedom to decide abour marriage by Samana and Parwana
Our life means our decisions and marriage is the most sensitive issue in the life, this is our life and we shold have this ability to choose whom to marry and live, otherwise we will not be able to achieve our goals and be a successful person , we are inspired to this right , as we hear many different stories and forced marriage from our families and friends in Afghanistan and Iran, in life the periority should be love between those who want to marry not the families willings.Recently I heard about the story of a young girl who married with her families decisions and after one month was killed by her husband. I want to defeng girls right and prevent it to happen to other girls not only in Afghanistan , but also in Eropean countries .
3. Freedom of Movement by Fariba and Fatema
Everyone has the right to be secure and is this security can not be found in where do they live , they should have the ability to have journey in another country to reach safety, and this action should be change in a legal way , so not many people will lose thier lives passing borders .
4. Freedom of belief by Farishta and Zainab
Everyone has freedom to think , choose the religion and belief , also every person should have freedom and right to access the education, as a person without the right of freedom is like a body that has no soul.We refugees have lost our freedom to choose and decide even about our belief since we had left our country.
5. Freedom of speech by Nahid and Narges
Freedom of speech is an apparent and natural right of all , and every one should have this right equally . We human beings should be able to think , decide and speak freely . We should also have the right to share our ideas and speak about realities without fear .Freedom of speech is the right to express your feelings and belives through speaking and even taking action against injustices and unfair decisions that come from state . Freedom of shring the ideas is using your own words and having the chance to speak in public and not being punished by your words .
In the second painting the public speaking of a man is shown that is telling to people, that we are all equal and we have equal right and women and girls should be able to speak freely.
