Jenson Button making off-road racing debut at Baja 1000

As the 2009 F1 world champion happens to the desert at a truck that is Sky-sponsored jenson Button is creating his own racing debut at the Baja 1000 this weekend.
Button will compete in the event in Ensenada, Mexico, for Rocket Motorsport, also the title of this karting team based on his late father John Button, also can be rushing alongside team-mates Chris Buncombe, also a former Le Mans LMP2 class winner, Mazen Fawaz and Terry Madden.
Even the Baja is the oldest and most prestigious competition of off-road racing, staged since 1967, 1000 and represents his own racing portfolio is enlarging in a way few champions do.
The event includes a 800-mile-long route through the desert on the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico.
Since retiring from F1 at 2016, Button has had seasons at WEC and Super GT, which he is leaving at the close of the year, while also carrying on the 24 Hours of Le Mans with SMP racing.
