Even the Los Angeles Dodgers, with NL West honors in arm, travel to Queens for a series from the New York Mets.
The Dodgers clinched the NL West in Baltimore with a 7-3 win over the Orioles. They followed up with a functionality in a 7-3 loss. Nobody seemed to care along with that was reflected by the results on the scoreboard. Even to an extent the Dodgers did not look their very best and went through the moves at the plate.
They won a game thanks to the Dodgers‘ bullpen. Rich Hill exited with a knee injury as he came back from a forearm strain. Between allergies and other disorders, Hill has experienced issues staying healthy. A 3-run inning from the Dodgers in the 6th inning was the difference Thursday in Baltimore.
The Dodgers should find a way to remain interested in the remainder of September. The most important job has been realized from the season for the Dodgers, although there homefield advantage to be concerned about. Anything else is a bonus. Past homefield advantage, it’s important to remain sharp heading into the postseason. That is all the Dodgers are attempting to perform that weekend. The bets are greater for the Mets.
They are not out of the fight, although Even the Mets have their backs against a wall socket. They are the team out in the National League, since they carry a 2-game deficit to tonight against the Dodgers. Even the Cubs and Brewers are in a tie for the final spot, whereas the Mets course by a few games.

Clayton Kershaw hasn’t looked like himself recently. He has been looking beatable, and will have questions to answer. Confidence in him will probably be reduced among Dodgers‘ fans if he goes to the postseason cold. Most flashlights will be delighted with an ERA of 3.06 in September, but he expects to find below 3.00, and it had been just recently that he watched it wake-up over this mark.
On August 14th, Kershaw maintained a 2.63 ERA. And going into his last start, Kershaw needed a 2.96 ERA. 8 earned runs in his past 9 innings of work has been enabled by kershaw. It’s been since August 14th since he’s enabled fewer than 3 runs.
Dodger fans are familiar but he doesn’t behave like this in September. He moves into Citi Field using an ERA of 6.19 along with 1.31 WHIP in his last three outings. Kershaw has been less effective on the street, having a 3.61 ERA in 62.1 innings in contrast to some 2.70 ERA at Dodger Stadium in 2019.
Syndergaard had endured some lumps as well. He got rocked against the Cubs for 9 earned runs three excursions past, but managed to repay in his second outing, holding the Nationals with. As a consequence of the disastrous operation against the Cubs, Syndergaard goes to tonight using a 7.80 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in his last 3 outings.
The Dodgers haven’t been the previous two days, completely using it. The Dodgers celebrated a little too hard, although I really don’t understand teams that celebrate wins. They have been a great team this season, although not so great on the road. Unexpectedly, the Mets have appreciated Citi Field, with a record of 42-29. Expect the Mets to be the focused team Friday night. They look just like the value in this area.
