This weekend we’ve got a free Card big FOX. We’re finally getting the rematch with Dustin Poirier vs Eddie Alvarez following their first battle ended in a No Contest. These are two of the most exciting fighters in the UFC and we ought to see an awesome struggle here. DraftKings has some decent competitions out with this card and I was surprised to see a $20k top prize in their principal tournament. That’s precisely what I will be pursuing and I will be making a bunch of LUs to throw into that. Listed below are a Couple of plays I like for Saturday and my fade of the week:
Cash Game play of this week — Stack (Dustin Poirier $8,800 AND Eddie Alvarez $7,400)
This is an easy way to start my cash LU this week and I anticipate this to be very well known in all cash game formats. These two were on pace to get a top scoring fight in their first battle and I think we’ve got an easy 100+ between the both of them . I believe the winner of the struggle will score more than 100 points and then we add in all of the sig strikes and other things from the loser as well. But we guarantee ourselves that the win. The only way this fight does not score over 100 DK points is someone gets kneed in the mind prohibited and the fight is stopped brief….
GPP play of the week — Hakeem Dawodu ($9,400)
I think this matchup was set up to get Dawodu a win. I also believe Islam Makhachev, who is $200 more, will probably be quite highly owned and this could be a fantastic pivot him off to distinguish your LU a bit. I really do think Dawodu will gain some decent ownership as well but I believe he is a good GPP drama this week. I feel the most likely outcome in this struggle is Dawodu getting a (T)KO win. He should pay off his $9.4k salary if that is the situation, particularly if it’s early. He is a really solid striker and we did not get to find out that in his UFC debut at which he was angry very early in the fight. This is the perfect fit for him to flaunt his striking and why there was so much hype behind him moving to his introduction. I believe we can observe a 1st round KO here which makes Hakeem Dawodu my GPP play of the week.
Underdog drama of the week — Ion Cutelaba ($7,600)
The most important reason Cutelaba is my underdog drama of this week is because there is no way he isn’t scoring at least 10x if he can get the win. He has big power and may find a 1st round KO score and here over 100 DK points. If he does this with his cheap salary of $7.6k he will certainly be in the winning lineup. This is a solid fight to target either side but points per salary shrewd, Cutelaba has one of those higher ceilings on the card. I do not see this fight going to conclusion and the winner should score highly. I think if you’re making numerous lineups this weekend then you must definitely have exposure to Cutelaba.
Fade of this week — Katlyn Chookagian ($8,700)
I’m fading a few fighters this week , but the person I never considered using was Katlyn Chookagian. It’s not that I don’t believe she can win, since she for sure can. However, I don’t see her paying off an $8.7k DK salary with a triumph. I believe we’d need a finish from her in this fight to get 10x that wages and I believe that’s quite unlikely to happen. The most Chookagian has ever scored in a UFC fight up to now in her profession is 83 DK points. That would not be sufficient here to put her at the winning lineup at her 8.7k price label. I think if you’re making 20 or less lineups this Saturday you may safely fade Chookagian and when she’s a triumph it shouldn’t hurt much.
